I've noticed lately on my 2006 MCS that the engine is a bit sluggish when starting the car. I changed my plugs and wires last year, but not the coil. It's got 107K on it and read that coils should be replaced every 100K.

Any ideas?

 

How many years on the battery?

Mine started behaving like that last Fall. Battery swap took care of it.

The battery is brand new. Replaced in Februrary. No way! We did have a group from St. Louis club come down recently. Were you in that?

 

There were two of us from the Wichita area group. We came down thru Eureka Springs, overnighted in Harrison then over to Yellville and down Rt 14. 14 is one of the prettiest and funnest drives we've been on thru AR. We'll be down thataway next Oct again for MITO.

How 'bout the starter itself? They can get sluggish after a while.
