Clutch pedal feels crusty

Hey guys. I'm trying to pinpoint an issue I have with my MCS. My clutch pedal has been feeling crusty. To describe it better, it feels almost sticky at certain points whenever I depress the pedal. It isn't insanely sticky, it just feels like going through a pile of rocks on the way in and on the way out. clutch engages fine .. a bit on the low side.

Some things I thought of would be air in the slave cylinder? I had air in my 94 Toyota Pickup slave cylinder, but the pedal engagement was still smooth - just had to pump enough pressure to engage the clutch. Doesn't seem to be the problem with the MCS since the engagement is still there.

Could it be the throwout bearing?

I don't know if i described it well, but maybe someone with a similar situation before know what i'm talking about?

Also the tranny makes a noise when clutch is disengaged, but goes away when it is depressing pedal.

crunchy feeling clutch pedals are usually the throw out bearing failing so it's time for a clutch kit.
The Valeo kit with flywheel is a great replacement.
