Grinding noise coming from car.... only 13,900 miles???

Listen all the way through the video to get a better idea of the sound.

Hi everyone, I am trying to diagnose the grinding noise coming from my 2010 MINI Cooper S. It happens when I start from a stop and shift into 3rd and 4th. The car has 13,900 miles. When I am starting from a stop, I noticed a very slight resistance and then it makes the noise. I noticed it occurring a little bit after my car sat for about 2 weeks, and then I noticed it even more after driving my car after it had been sitting for about a month. What could this problem be? Would it be related to any of the mods I have done (In the description) that the dealership could blame the problem on?

Thanks!

Sounds like synchro's noise to me, but it's hard to tell what you are doing to precipitate the noise (camera pans to the window).

Either way, the car is under warranty, why not let the dealer guess on MiniUSA's dime?
Whether they blame the issues on mods or not, at least you will know what the problem is and what it will take to address it.
