Hey guys thanks for all of your knowledge on so many topics. This forum is priceless!! I am about to do my first oil change on my 06' MCS and wanted to know if the following filter will fit? I think it will but I am not sure.

 

Looks like an OEM filter so you should have zero problems with it.

Looks like they are picturing the gen2 filter with a gen1 date info...and MARKING IT UP EXTRA $$.
I would looks elsewhere...pretty good chance when you get it, it might be wrong.
Still, IMO stick with OEM, or a good euro brand like MANN....Quite a few folks have reported they have used NAPA GOLD (apparently made by WIX) without issues.
