JCW Tuning Kit - Air Filter replacment?

I have tried for the life of me to get answers from three different dealerships.

I have a 2009 MCS with JCW Engine Kit

I have the cone filter style,,,What is the best replacement filter?

Can I use a standard Panal filter or do I need a Cone Filter?

You have to use a cone filter.

I just ordered an Alta foam filter from outmotoring for my 2008 s w tune kit. It is the type that you clean and reuse. It is supposed to be better for the intake. Less restrictive than the oem paper.

Your cone filer is the same one used in the First Gen JCW Air box. Any replacement filter for those will fit in yours.

I got a buddy of mine a cone filter from Amsoil. Looks like a blue K&N style filter. It was a perfect fit. And no oil used as a medium to trap dirt so no messing with the MAF.
