Triangle to Tail of the Dragon on April 29
For anyone going to Tail of the Dragon on April 29, 2004 from the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area...
If anyone is interested in having some curvy road fun on the way to Fontana area on Thursday April 29th, I am planning the following little run.
Leave Triangle area around 9:00 am
(Straightest part of trip)
Arrive in Blowing Rock around 12:00
Lunch at local pizza place
Take 221 south out of Blowing Rock toward Little Swizterland
There is fun 30 minute loop with stop at Little Switzerland for restroom refreshments.
Little Switzerland Loop
From there drop down to I-40 near Ashville and cruise on over to Fontana for Thursday night dinner at Tapoco Lodge
