So after I sold Oscar, I bought a new 981 Porsche. I love the car, it's smooth, it's quick and handles phenomenally. Though I love the car, it's not as "fun" of a car to drive like my mini was.

So I made a thread where I bought a 2007 R56 from a member that got totaled when it was brought into my shop.










That was many months ago and the delay in putting it together was because the previous owner decided to drive it to the shop and in the process of doing so, cooked the engine.












I bought a new engine from mini and installed it in the car.

So I finally got it done.




















So after many months of finally getting it together, one of my employees wanted to buy it for his wife. As much as I would have like to keep it, it was going to a good home and it freed up some money for some other projects.

Anyway, almost made it back to Mini but not quite... perhaps another time.

You have such a great eye on how to make a car stand out without being ugly, nice touch with the red in the interior.

When it is right, you will end up back in a MINI. Maybe you need to be one of the guys that gets an F56 and makes it look 'right'?

Awwww....lol. One thing I have to say... there's no family like a mini family. Next to having a "fun" car to drive, no doubt the part I miss the most is the camaraderie from my fellow mini peeps.


Perhaps one day... I've still got a bug to redo an R53. I've got all these things in my head that will only work on an R53, I just need to implement them.
