Correct spark plugs for a 2009 R56 Base Hatchback??

Hello all, I have been trying in vain to accurately obtain a part # for the correct spark plugs for my 2009 Mini Cooper Base hatchback. The car was produced BEFORE the 2009 split. I have conflicting information concerning BERU and NGK part #s. One website contradicts the other and even NGK can't seem to tell me what's what. Can someone please inform me as to the absolute correct spark plugs? I am not interested in anything but OE or direct replacement for the OE. Thanks so much!!!

Depends on your build date found in your driver door.

Use the following part number if built before 9/09:

BERU 12ZR6SP03
12120035933

From 9/2009 on
BERU 12ZR6SP02
1212215816

Go here to confirm part numbers by entering part of your VIN.

FYI That part number is for the turbo model, not the N.A. Cooper

Yep, good note on the split year:

You can see the manufacture types in red and well as the split years.

Thanks

Just wanted to thank you all for the helpful responses. Much appreciated!! I think I'll just get the Beru plugs and keep things simple and do it right the first time
