So I am picking up my 2013 Clubman S this Saturday, the issue is they couldn't put the factory roof rails on, due to my color choice, Pepper White with British Racing green package. So the aftermarket pillar's are being installed at the dealership.

Does anyone know of a car cover that will fit over the mini and these roof rails?

Or do I have to simply buy a much larger cover and make it fit?

I will be parking her outside part time at the docks where my sail boat is and I want to keep the sea gull and salt off of her.

My Woody car cover fit over my OEM Roof Rails no problem. I'm assuming you are getting the Cross Bars installed? I haven't tried fitting my cover with the cross bars on, I assumed it would fit properly, but then again I have aftermarket cross bars.

Yes factory pillars and cross bars. So I can carry kayaks and the like.

Wasn't sure the factory cover would fit, in fact my salesman said he didn't think it would with the rails on.

Could you try a cover on a similarly equipped car in the showroom? Then you'd know.

The factory cover (gray, thicker fabric) will not fit over my factory cross bars mounted with bicycle carriers on my roof rails. The cover won't extend over the back bumper when the rack is mounted. The cover does fit easily over the roof rails without the cross bars and bike carriers.

I don't know how well it would fit over the cross bars without the bike carriers.....might work.

One of the bike carriers has a tray that extends almost to the rearmost part of the roof, and the ends of the tray eventually tore a hole in my cover just above the barn doors. I mount the rack in the Spring and take it off in late Fall, and the cover tore after three summers of doing this. I need a new cover, and am looking for one that I can use without having this reoccur.

 

This cover will fit, it's the JCW Clubman cover. It's like spandex on a HOT woman or a MINI on the Dragon...Hugs the curves!

Any of the MINI car cover that contain the stretchy elastic type materiel seem to stretch more then the regular textile fabric. They have a spandex nature and I would try one of those first. But they are indoor versions, which can be used outdoors for some cases.
