18" JCW Wheels

Hi. Does anyone happen to know if the 18" JCW wheels that were on some of the R53 JCWs are really sought out and valuable over what other wheels (R90s, etc.) would be worth? If so, how much?

Thanks,

Lee

The R95's were the first, but I don't think they were that popular. The R105's were the next ones and I think a bit more popular. (I love them). The GP's were next and I've only seen one non-GP MINI in person with them. Not sure how popular the more recent ones (R109/113/JCW Challenge) are.

I think the R105's are more desirable but that is purely personal. Used with good tires I'd say $500-700 depending on how bad you want to get rid of them, the condition and type and condition of tires. Caveat: this is one man's opinion, not necessarily the most popular.

Thanks for the reply. I hate to admit it, having owned several R53s, but I just don't happen to know all of the codes for the wheels except the R90s. Can you describe how the R95s, R105s and R109s look? Which ones are the JCW 18s?

Thanks again,

Lee

Great resource: http://libraryofmotoring.info/facts/wheels/

I think any of the 18's I listed are "technically" JCW from what I remember from the accessories catalog.

The 18" R109's are fairly rare from what I've been told from a few members here.
