So here is my predicament, the previous owner of my mini installed a Alta v2 pulley and it has a sticker covering the percentage that is stamped on the metal. I have called Alta and they said simply to remove the sticker. I have literally tried everything to remove it. Any ideas, short of removing the pulley? I have tried scraping the center where the number is to no avail both when the engine is warm and cold.

Oh I am pretty sure it is a 17% as my boost gauge sits at around 18psi when it maxes out, I don't know how accurate the prosport gauges are though...

 

Can't you just measure it?

 

Genius haha it's reasons like this I come to forums. I just hope that the outer diameter is not the same and only the inner diameter changes. We'll see I am trying to get ahold of Alta now

 

if your sitting at 18 psi it is a 17%...i didnt get the v 2.0 badge like that of what your explaining but i cant even see the pulley unless i look for it....
im not sure what your talking about diameter, but alta has customer service live chat on their website.

Hey, so just a update (sort of). Alta is not getting back to me... My pulley is 6.5 cm. If anyone is under the hood some time can they just take a ruler and measure the pulley? I didn't need to remove anything. Thanks!
