Interior/Exterior HELP honeycomb grill install...
I know there are how-tos and whatever, but i'm not a handy guy, and my dad wouldn't want to cut or remove my bumper or whatever it takes to do it... is there anyone in the valley area (socal) that would want to install the middle-grill (bonnet is easy so i guess i can do that) i'd pay you but i just don't want the dealer to do it because they wanted to charge me 100 just for labor, i thought they would do it for free... that was my mistake
anyways if someone is interested send me a pm and we can work out a price... or if someone just loves fine-tuning their bumper-taking-off-grill-adjusting skills, i'd be happy to allow you to do it for free

Take a leisure drive north to Portland and I'll lend you a hand!
Removing the front bumper isn't a difficult task, requiring removal of 6 screws to allow the top portion of the bumper to tilt forward for grille installation. 4 screws are accessible from the top of the bumper when the bonnet is open. 2 from the wheel arch. Good luck!

I just finished the install...it's definitely not easy. That being said, I never had used a dremmel before and the grille looks perfect, as long as you don't lay on the ground under the bumper and look up to see that I dremmelled off a little too much. Motoringfile.com has the how-to instructions, follow them and you'll be ok. It definitely takes some confidence and lots of patience. Dremmeling the grille is the easy part, making new tab holes in the bumper is very scary; just take your time and you'll be fine.
I did mine over the weekend. It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's also not terribly difficult. I didn't dremmel or remove anything from the bumper, but wasn't pleased with how it turned out so I'm going back in this weekend with wire and a hot glue gun. And then there's that little sensor tab - that wasn't in the instructions anywhere so I'm going to have to find a work around to intall it to the bumper.
Anyhow, should a little easier the second time around.
