This is a low water crossing at New River (north of Phoenix). It's unusual to see water running in normally dry washes in the desert.
I took some shots awhile ago on Oak Creek.

Did a 2 week Va-ca in Sept/Oct last year, Grand Canyon Tour, Hubby had never seen it (WA Native), drove through Sedona and Oak Creek on our way down to the Valley. Went to see Montezuma's Castle and Tuzigoot Natl. Monument. Did take some great pics. while on vacation, just haven't posted any.
