I just noticed that when I turn off the car or unlock the doors I get a slight static/white noise from the speakers. It will stay on for a while and then it stops like the power was cut. This is when the engine and radio is completely off and the key is out. Does anyone else have this happening? I'm wondering if I should have the dealer look into this. I have a 2011 MCS with the HK stereo.

 

Do a search, and you'll see MY posts about the same thing. Apparently, its "normal" for our cars, though its not normal in any of the twenty or so other cars I've owned. It DOES GO OFF, after 15 minutes or so....bizarre

 

Thanks! I did a search before but I guess I used static instead of hissing. I guess as long as its supposed to be this way I can live with it.

 

I don't think its "normal" either, but there are so many OTHER issues with our cars that I'll have to fight for, this one didn't seem worth posing them off over.
I have it on two repair tickets. If I start having premature battery issues, THEN I'll pull them out....
