Now that I finally got my bonnet stripes...

I ordered a Green Park edition Cooper S - which is pepper white, green roof and mirror caps, and green stripes and pinstripes. While I ordered the car with the bonnet stripes, it came without. No big deal - they ordered in the correct bonnet stripes (green with brown edges), but now that I have them in hand, I'm thinking I have options to do something unique with the Green Park. My idea is to apply the stripes just along one side (and not angled as the typical double bonnet stripes are from the windscreen to the grill but rather perfectly lined up with the longitudinal axis of the car) and continuing that one-sided pattern down the back of the hatch. Has anything like that been done - and if so, can someone post - or point to - a pic? Other ideas are welcome!

Why not just trim the backing and use painter's tape to stick them down temporarily and see what you like best.

Take pictures of it so you can look at the different mock ups later on your computer, too.
