Do I have hands free phone
Hello all. This is my 1st post. I have a new to me mini clubman s. just got it a few days ago and I am trying to learn what all I have. It has the Harmon Kardon upgrade. On the steering wheel it has the two buttons for Bluetooth. On the face of the receiver it has the telephone icon. But when I press the menu button I only see config and comp. nothing says phone as listed in the manual. Did mini put the telephone control buttons on all the cars without having the actual option available? Can it be added easily?
Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to be a mini owner for a long time.

I wondered the same thing myself when I purchased my 07 MCS. Even though I had the buttons on the steering wheel and on the head-unit I apparently did not have Bluetooth.
I spoke to a sales rep at Baltimore Mini and was told that Bluetooth could be installed but would end up costing somewhere around $600 for the Mini cooper brand.
This would require a bit of new equipment apparently. I decided it wasnt worth it and bought an aftermarket visor Bluetooth device.
There are other ways about having Bluetooth in your car though. DICE makes a nice plug in device for around $200, I believe, that allows you to use the steer wheel buttons/car's audio.
