Change non automatic to automatic heating dashboard

Has anyone change non automatic heating dashboard, to automatic dashboard with degrees display.
Is possible?

Eek that sounds like quite the undertaking. I don't know that I had heard of this retrofit being done yet. I will be sure to keep an eye on this thread. It is my suspicion that it will be cost prohibitive.

I've read of it being done in Britain. But it's a scary process involving replacing quite a lot - wiring harness, heater unit (I think). Certainly not just a case of replacing the controls.

there is a thread here on someone doing it and the amount of work it took and all the parts to do it. In the end if my memory serves me right it was well over $2k in parts.
