WTT for Chili Red R53 hood without stripes or with black stripes. Even up. Probably not going to get any bites on this.. but hey.. why not.

Has plastidipped black hood scoop and front grille.

 

Why don't you just peel off the stripes?

 

I'm worried that the 6-year-old paint underneath will be a different color. Which will require repainting the hood to fix. Then the hood won't match the car.

 

Red does tend to fade quicker than other colors; & especially if parked in the sun often.

For what it's worth...pealed off the stripes from my Blue MCS, & unless you know they were there, you would have a hard time seeing it; as the paint was Very-Slightly darker.. Honestly, I like it, but I'm the only one that notices.

I would call them 'Ghost Stripes'; but, Only IF they were a bunch Darker.
