It isn't happening everytime but it is happening more and more. I replaced the brakes and rotors about 3-5 k ago. Any idea what this could be.

 

It's a very well known issue and shouldn't be an issue. I believe it's the glazing of the flywheel.

It's a glazed flywheel / clutch. Doesn't effect anything really, it's just annoying. If your mini has low enough miles, some of that may be covered under warranty. If you do decide to fix it, pay for a new clutch while your at it, there wont be any additional labor.

Chewbacca sound can also come from a stuck dualmass flywheel (the inner weights/silcone gell).....also something that can be ignored. Will go away with a new clutch/flywheel.

 

Throw enough money at it and it can fixed lol
