What maintenance you would do to a newly purchased R53 with 100k miles?

I had an R56 that I bought brand-new and sold at 50k miles last summer - all issues were covered under warranty.

I just bought my second Mini - this time an R53 with almost 100k miles on the clock. The mechanic's inspection looked very good and didn't indicate any issues except for low power steering fluid and a P0442 code (hopefully a gas cap issue). It runs great. The service indicator says the next service isn't due for 11,000 miles.

What preventative maintenance would you do if you just bought this car?

Besides detailing the car, I'm thinking:
1. Change the oil
2. Put in more power steering fluid
3. Fix the P0442 code with a new gas cap (hopefully) or other fix
4. ?? Not sure what to do next. I can get service records up to about 2011 from the dealer but then there is no record of any further service.

Change the oil for sure. Then have someone that knows MINI inside and out give it a once over and show what if anything needs to be taken care off.

1. Check suspension: LCA, sway bar bushes & ball joints
2. Belt tensioner damper health check
3. Harmonic damper replacement. Go ATi or Fluid damper
4. Check low speed fan. If out, & you've high speed, bypass the burnt resistor
5. Check PS fan
6. Change/check fluids: oil, coolant, brake, tranny & CHARGER
7. Check leaks: thermostat, crank sensor seal, ps hoses(replace or recrimp clamps)
8. If mushroomed, restore tower, replace strut mounts & install reinforcement plates. Craven, M7 & others have them
9. Get a scangaugeII
10. Plugs, leads, battery health check. Always torque down plugs on a cold engine.
11. Check all engine & tranny mounts.
