R50/53 Highbeam Reflector Adjust?
Highbeam Reflector Adjust?
Yesterday I stopped by a auto store to see if they had replacement bulbs. Realized the legit D2-R for my 03 MCS with Xenons are $100 a pop! I'm fairly new to Mini and decided to pop open the bonnet and get familiar with the headlamps. When I lifted the highbeam rubber cover off i notice the bulb connector and tried disconnecting it and the reconnecting it, when i pressed it back in i felt the entire reflector move and click to a new position, I then noticed it can be moved up and down. Is this normal or am i messing with some i shouldn't? I also noticed the driver side highbeam was pointed down and the passenger was pointed up.
help if you can!

When parked your HID's will point down, and then adjust up when the car is on and the lights are turned on.
Try turning your lights on when about 15' from a wall to check where they shine. If you caused a problem you can see on the wall and adjust the lights with the adjustment screw for the headlight.
