Megan Coilover Questions!

anybody got Megan Coilovers???
It seems too cheap for $1000 coilovers with all that fancy stuff.
Is there any quality issues? fitment issues? or anything?????????

please help!

Lots of threads on this. ST is another good option for that price point.

I just installed ST coilovers two days ago with 5mm front spacers, Hotchkis camber arms and love the setup.

I got a set of Megan CO for the price you get a good set of co I got them bc I'm a college student and I wanted a good set at a good price and kw and others were more $$ and were out of question. The one problem I have is when adjusting the hight, the top nut would come losses causing the strut to make a knocking noise. The easy fix is to put lock tight on it an tighten it back down

You are a friggin' genius! That is my problem with my Megans! The top nut under the adjustment **** is about 1 cm lower then the other one!

Other than that, I really like mine. Came with the extension cables for the rear’s - those will go on this summer. They say 32 different adjustment settings, so I put them right in the middle 17. Way to hard for normal street use. With my summer tires, ride is not good, very harsh. With the winter tires, the ride is better, but the suspension overwhelms the skinny tires with tall tread. They will be softened up soon. Or I could just drive slower…

You can take the adjustment **** off to get a better grip of the top bolt

Thanks minime331! everythinging is 100% now! Super easy fix.

So, thoes of you out there thinking of these or any other aftermarket part - check ALL nuts, screws, et al, prior to and post install. I do like the Megans. You do get a lot for the money.
