R59 After market bike rack for roadster?
If you went for that, be sure the dealer knows what they are ordering. There is a factory bike carrier for all non-Countryman cars (and another pne for Countrymen) but it requires modifications to the rear bumper that can only be done economically by ordering the car with that option - which I don't think US customers can do. I have that bike rack (P/N 82710444093, and $600 is about the US list price) but I'm in Europe so I could order my car with 'bike rack prep' that provides the second rear towing eye socket that the carrier bolts into.
Here's my bike rack (being used as a Continental-style spare wheel carrier!) - sorry to those who have seen the photo before:

If you look just above the left fog/reverse lamp, you can see the second towing eye socket being used to mount the carrier.

I actually called Saris at one point, and they recommended against putting the Bones on a Roadster (& presumably Coupe, too). Even though it might appear to fit with the spoiler raised, their concern was that when the rack was loaded, and especially if loaded with more than one bike, normal flexing of the rack would interfere with the spoiler.
I had a bones on my R56 and it was great. I am not 100% satisfied with how it fits on my R55 but any trunk-like application or rear hatch that inst vertical like the R55 and the Saris Bones is a great option. I got mine for $75 or so on CL.
