A little stuck here folks.

Looking at Kosei K-1 Racing 17x7.5" and the Enkei OR52 (anthracite) 17x7" wheels for my 04 MCS Indi Blue/Black.

I prefer the looks of the darker wheel but want to go with 215/45/17 Yoko ES 100's.

Here's the question: Is the 1/2" difference in width going to make a huge difference when mounting the tires (bulging) when looking at possible rubbing issues?

Question #2 - How in the heck do the Enkei wheels mount to the lugs? I cant see any lug holes. Just a center hole.

Your thoughts.

What is the offset of the Kosei Wheels? I have a set of 17's with an offset of +35 mounted with Yoko's. I had to have the fenders rolled inside to keep them from rubbing. I also had my car lowered. If you ask Alex at Tire Rack........he can give you the EXACT info you need to know and it will be spot on.

Both are at +42mm. That seems to be the offset that is less likely to cause any problems. I wonder whether or not the .5" in width is going to be a big deal or not.

I'm not intending on lowering at this point and don't envision going with a "big brake" kit.

Thanks

Your set up sounds like it will be fine. I have two sets of the Kosei K-1 Wheels and really like them a-lot. However, give Alex a call at tirerack JUST TO BE SURE before you spend your cash.... He is the moderator of this forum. Good Luck!

The center hub cap will come off and will reveal your lugs.
The cap has a hole in the center so that you can see your
brake rotor hub (makes it sporty looking).
