Thought I would give this a shot. Anybody got any coupons from Mini of Nashville for discounts on parts and/or service? Seems like I get an e-mail occasionally with some discounts in there, but haven't gotten one lately.

My wife got a CEL and the MAP thermostat needs to be replaced on her 2008 MCSa. Not cheap to replace, but at least she wasn't on the road (between Knoxville and Nashville) when she got the CEL.

Gary Gray has taken care of us over the years at Mini of Nashville and does a good job. This is our first out of warranty repair on the car so I can't complain to much. Its got around 46k miles on it. Just hoping to maybe save a few dollars. If anyone has something, please reply. I will need it by 3 - 4:00pm CT today.

This is a little too late but dealers typically charge an arm and a leg for service that can be done of the same quality or even better at a local reputable shop. Regardless of your relationship with your dealer, for out of warranty repairs, you should find yourself a local shop that does a great job and stick with them!

Either that or it's time to trade the car in and get another brand new car that has a warranty.
