I know they're currently available and in stock at some dealerships. If you have a set, please share your opinion and experience with the wheels! Photos would be great!

For those with 18" wheels, is there an issue with rubbing?

Towards the last page, there's a pic. The show it references is also on reruns at present, I caught it last night (3rd April) at 9:30PM EST.

Hi,

I think the jcw wheels are way overprized, here in Holland they sell them for about 350 dollars each without tires!!

I have 18" wheels from TSW (TSW Reflex)

With 215-35-18 Toyo tires and have absolutely no problems with rubbing,
even not when i'm with 4 persons in the car!!

My set of JCW wheels should be on the car by the end of the week. The set retails for $2295 for wheels/tires and this compares favorably witht eh MINI/BBS R90s which I think run about $2600. I'm evening getting a discount of 10% off the retail because of BMWCCA membership. Sure, I wish the wheels were cheaper... but I think the price is fair compared to other high-end aftermarket wheel/tire combos.

I finally had the chance to anchor the weight-laden JCW wheels on the car last night.

The cost of the wheels with JCW center caps was $1367.40 shipped from Classic and the Toyo Proxes 4 (205/40ZR18) was $553.52 shipped. With $36 balance and mount, the total came to be $1956.86. Not bad!

I decided to forego the recommended retrofit kit that supposed to prevent rubbing. After doing several high-speed donuts at an empty parking lot, no rubbing noted. HOORAY!!!
