Newb...looking for opinions...
Hey Guys, I've been lurking around for the last couple of weeks reading and coveting some of YOUR Mini CM's. I have never really desired a Mini, but now that my commute to work is 406 miles each way; I need something that gets better fuel economy than my 2012 Ford F-350 Powerstroke.
I have found a CM on the Internet. Not exactly what I'm looking for but the price seems to right. I can get it for $22,500 and it is a 2011, S, Auto, but not an All4. I will be required to travel in the snow a little, but the car will spen a lot of time in St. George. Should I wait for an All4 or will the front wheel drive be sufficient? I think the price is right on the one I found though.
Give me your thoughts. I've also called the Mini dealership and there hasn't been any warranty work on the car. The car has about 25k on miles.

... 406 miles each way ?
you said you never had a desire for a mini, but are looking for better fuel economy...
i guess each person gets a mini for their own reasons, but if it's just a commuter car and it's "not exactly what you're looking for", maybe shop around. there may be a cheaper option that gets even better fuel economy.
if by "not exactly what you're looking for" meaning options in the car, but you're really diggin' the idea of having a mini and like that car for what it is then maybe head over to your local dealer, test drive a few and pick it up if it seems like the car you like.
don't get me wrong, i love my CM. is it the right car for everyone ? absolutely not. would i recommend one to someone who is looking for a main stream commuter and is also thinking about getting a honda accord ? probably not. would i recommend one to someone who says "ya know, i just hate driving anywhere, traffic sucks, my car is boring. i need to have some fun when i drive". absolutely.
