Hi, I would like to see if someone could help me. If you have a CravenSpeed Mini Dipstick for a 1st Gen Mini (R53) could you measure the length of the dipstick from the tip to the end that comes flush with the dip stick tube. The one that I got is longer than the stock dipstick and when I tried it, it shows that my oil is overfull. However, I've had my 2005 MCS since new and am very careful with oil levels and using the original stock dipstick, it shows full. so if I can get an idea on the length of another CravenSpeed dipstick that will help me determine what I should do.

I have one but I left the stock one at the shop in case someone needed one so I can not compare . Did you call Craven to get their opinion ?

Just curious, have you checked your oil with both dipsticks and if so, did you get the same reading? Thanks
