Scrapes and replacements
Scrapes and replacements
My mini got all scraped up. Does anyone know a good buffer to get out scrapes. All the things circled in the pic are what needs to be fixed. It's hard to see in the picture. I need a new bottom black trim. I need a side yellow reflector. And a few nicks and a little bit of a dent on the edge. Is there anything I can do to fix it.
If its just paint transfer then some clay bar and polish will be fine. If its got some gouges in the surface, then I'm figuring you would need to get it repainted. If its very deep, then touch up paint probably won't work without repairing the surface first.
Richard or Phil or one of the pros on here would be the best people to ask as they have likely seen a lot more cases like this then the rest of the amateurs like myself.

Clay bar and polish are just two elements of the detailing process.

I've been using another brand of product from Griot's Garage (.com) for several years.
Both have everything you need to make your MINI concours sparkly.
