Exedy clutch feel softer than stock unit?? HELP
So my 100k stock clutch was slipping and i decided to swap it with a stock-ish exedy unit with a solid flywheel. The car is my daily and performance is not all that important with this car. I tore into the car Friday night and spent a number of hours on her yesterday and this morning. Despite some setbacks I was able to get the clutch reinstalled but have not buttoned the car up yet. After I got the clutch installed I gave her a few pumps on the pedal and it felt like she needed to be bleed which i did. Now the clutch feels fine, but is lighter than stock for sure. Has anyone else experienced this?? I just wanna make sure everything is normal before I go through the long task of bolting this car back together.
Thanks
Thanks
You use New pressure plate? Same number of fingers? Same thickness? I assume stockish is the stage one? The lighter clutch is usually a benefit for speed shifting it very well could have been made to be lighter.
