Hi I have mini connected w/ nav and i play my audio via USB stick. I have a 16GB stick that I use and have all my music sorted by artists in their own folder.

I did see there was a random choice you can select, but it seems to play songs randomly only within the current folder. So example XYZ artist. If i select random it only shuffles or plays songs randomly in the XYZ folder.

Is there a way to have it shuffle or play songs randomly through all folders? Or will i have to put all mp3s in 1 folder. Can i make a m3u or pls with all songs in their locations and will that shuffle?

I've recently started using a USB do my MINI music but, I don't have anything in folders so I don't really know the answer. Can you choose all songs without having to specify a folder?

 

thanks, not that im aware of. it asks you to browse the directory or load playlists. if you just keep it next it goes to the next song in the current folder and will eventually start from the beginning

 

Figured it out

Select all songs under browse and then move to the right and select random. Then it will shuffle/play random through all folders
