Yakima Basketcase with Mini Base Supports

2012 Cooper Hatchback. Anyone use this combination ? The Yakima Basketcase with the Mini base roof rack supports? If so, how did you secure the basket to the roof rack supports? Pics would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure it can be done, I plan as that being my next mod w 4 more 500 hellas lol

I spoke to Yakima Customer Service today and they told me the Basketcase would NOT work with the Base Support Roof rack on a Cooper. They told me I would have to go with a LoadWarrior - to the tune of $242 instead of $110 - but at least they claim it will work. The other thing with the Basketcase is I would have to buy some type of clamps to hold it on (probably about $40); Yakima CS says the LoadWarrior comes with the necessary clamps to connect to the factory Mini bars.

I'll post back once I get it and the Base Roof Rack bars to let you know...
