I recently got the low oil pressure light and confirmed that the oil level was within spec. I then checked around the engine compartment and saw a pool of oil on top of the transmission starting to leak onto my garage floor...I was able to trace the leak to the pressure sensor above the oil filter housing next to the thermostat/coolant temp sensor. Anyone else experience an oil pressure sensor failure similar to this?
