I sold my MCS a couple years ago after buying it new in 2002. After two years I've been looking to get another one. I found GP1581 for sale. It has 14,000 miles, and has had 2 owners. Asking price is 19,800. Looks good from the photos.

I was just looking for a low mileage 2005/6 Cooper S. This has caught my attention. Other than the normal MINI issues to look out for, are there any GP specific things I should be looking out for? 14,000 miles is way low for a 2006.

Any advice or thoughts?

 

One of the GPs running around in the resale world I believe is running on a salvage title.

It could very well have 14k miles, but that price is about $5k too low.

 

Concur. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is! Unless this is a distress sale, tread cautiously.

 

Get the VIN and run a carfax, might open up some things you may not have known about
