Just a reminder that this Saturday, October 13, the British Motoring Club of Montgomery will have its 2012 car show for British and European cars, at Lagoon Park from 10:00am - 02:00pm. I hope you and your MINI will be there either as an entrant or a spectator. Details and Registration information are on the above links.

I had three positive replies for the lunch run/road trip up to Niffer's on Lake Martin. The consensus was that Saturday, October 27 would be best. Since the three MINIiacs who replied are also members of the British Motoring Club, I've invited the MGs, Triumphs, and Jaguars to join us.

Let's plan to meet at the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot (Atlanta Highway @ E. Bypass, behind Varsity BBQ) and be ready to roll at 10:00am. It usually takes just over an hour to motor to Niffer's via Redland Road, AL 50 & 49. We can order and be eating by 11:30. If you need to get back home for a ball game you can. OR, if you'd like to ride another 11 miles, we can visit the Hodges Winery. It's located about 9 miles east of Walnut Hill. Here's a review from Lake Martin Living magazine.
