R53 belt tensioner strut only

Selling the strut from a brand new belt tensioner for an R53. Why replace the whole tensioner if its just the strut that is gone bad?

30 bucks is cheap .

because I dont need it . The remaining parts of the tensioner is being used as a display in our shop.
