Smile Has anyone seen the new color blazing red yet?

I am waiting for the new colors before making my order of a 2013 CS. Has anyone seen the color yet? If so, can you post a picture or compare it with chili red or pure red? I checked the Internet and found two car with blazing red as attached below. Are they similiar to mini's new color?

Thanks.

I'm sure that you will find that what one car company calls it's colors has nothing to do with another company's color names. Just like what MINI calls colors has nothing to do with what color they are, especially out of Austria. I think there's something in the beer over there. CM colors have always needed to be seen in person and in several light conditions and not on color charts or monitors. You'll also get a thousand people weighing in with a thousand different opinions. Best be patient and wait and see for yourself.

Sealy - Who can tell you that if you're waiting for something better that PR, you may be waiting a while.

Anyone know what the official color palate for the 2013 countryman will be? I heard a rumor Surf Blue is being dropped.

That is awesome. I had the HO on my 2006 r52. It was a SE color so a bit ifferent, but when I traded in my MINI, I got an extra $500 for that! Woooohoooooo. Of course any place but a MINI dealer they took off for being an unusual color

Much better than Pure Red, IMO. Pure Red looks like someone took beautiful Chili Red and mixed in a few gallons of orange. Nothing pure about it.

Not so sure about this name though... not exactly "blazing".

PR photographs extremely well as a red, but when we went to look at it on the lot i just couldn't get past the orange hue to it. that blaze red is a nice color but not real mini-ish.

Valid point re: blazing red. Not a MINI-ish color. Not bright nor quirky nor classic.

I believe the Paceman on the picture is Brillant Copper, not Blazing Red.
The Blazing Red looks like a bright metallic red.

The color on the picture seems neither blazing red nor brilliant copper, unless Mini Cooper wants to redefine colors. Now I am so confused.

I saw both colors on a Countryman and a Paceman. The Paceman was almost like the picture, and the Countryman was a lot brighter.

I know it's confusing and that the only two true color choices are Cosmic Blue and Pure Red, but that blazing red has to be close to the bottom of the list.

The blue that you can only tell is blue and not black if the sun is at 45° and you happened to have washed it earlier that day

I ordered a Blazing Red CMS sight unseen.

I actually placed an order through my local dealer for Pure Red, but when it came back that the factory replaced PR with BR, we rolled the dice. I was told that it was metallic and figured that it had to be some form of red which wasn't quite as orange as the PR.

Anyway, I did find Blazing Red in the Paceman configurator on mini.co.uk, and it looks fabulous there.

There's also some video that's been on Youtube for a while with a red JCW Countryman and a "Thrill Bench" and it looks like the Chili Red from the 2 door MINIs, but it might be the new color.

Thank you! The color is Amazing! I love it! I just ordered 2012 model in bright yello. Can I still change the color? If I order in 2013 color, than it has to be 2013 model, right? It will just increase my Apr from 0.9 to 1.9 I guess.

The image in the configuration tool is misleading from real photos I've seen. It's not a metallic paint. It's just a darker deeper red then the true red on the current countryman. I uploaded photos that include the starlight blue and the blazing red to my flickr account. I've been trying to decide between the colors myself. To me the starlight blue is a much better paint.
