has anyone here got the mini mania wood or carbon fiber trim? i'm thinking wood would look great along with my black interior. just curious about how it ends up looking and the quality.

I haven't seen the wood trim live, but if I had a BRG and black interior I'd be looking for wood too..I love the wood trim classic look, and just can't see it in my lapis blue leather /alloy patina interior....but I so want it...

Yesterday I saw a friend's MCS with MINI Mania's carbon fiber trim kit. It looked very good. The quality took me (...and another owner who happened to be there) by surprise...it was very, very nice!!!!

be warn that these wood kits are 3m stick-on. if you are looking for direct replacement of wood, mini officially sells the wood effect kit. it costs a little more but would look alot better. there is also a rumor that a carbon fibre direct replacement kit is coming this fall '04.
