Hello all,

I just moved to San Diego and the GP has no cover at my new place. What type of covers do you use to cover your GP? I also heard wrong covers can hurt the car... Much thanks in advance!

MINI sells a GP cover but I believe it's primarily an indoor dust cover. For another car, I have a Stormproof by Cover King. It's amazing...lightweight but strong, waterproof but breathable. Folds up to relatively small bundle. They can make a custom cover to order in a variety of colors. Many vendors carry their brand. Shop around.

 

MINI lists two covers that are GP specific. One indoor and one outdoor. The outdoor cover is part# 082110421606. My local dealer will give you 10% off the list which is $299.00. Let me know if you want me to put you in touch with them. Hope this helps.

 

thank you guys! I will look into all of your suggestion. but, man, that GP specific cover looks awesome! I think I will keep it covered just to stare at the cover! =)
