Inquiring minds want to know......

 

im wondering if that lighter green on all the paceman concept pics will be a new color.

 

I want to price out my JCW Countryman ALL4 ;-) but won't be getting it for a few years. But like to dream

Don't know for sure, but I suspect not. I think the Paceman will come in the same colors as the Countryman, plus an orange they're calling Copper. That green is nice, and I hope it sees the light of day at some point.

 

There's supposed to be an S version in a new blue "Starlight Blue" and the Justa color is Copper. Launch cars are supposed to only be those colors.

 

I think all the pictures up on Motoring File of the official release feature the Starlight Blue, which reminds me of the classic Indi Blue. Have to wait and see it in person, but so far I think the car looks very good in it, and keeping the blue theme in my MINI/Mini family would be nice.

 

MINI USA just posted some pictures to Facebook that include what appears to be the 'Copper' colored Justa and shows the interior. It also has what looks to be a teaser of a JCW model. I all you can see is a red roof and mirror caps. With the speed that the JCW Countryman has come out, who knows that timeframe that is meant to imply. Sometime in the next decade, probably.

 

Last year it was updated right around the late sept / early oct time frame. The dealer had all the info (accurate I might add since 2011 to 2012 has a lot of apckage content shuffle) as early as July. That's when I was in shopping mode.

 

It also seemed like dealers were placing orders for 2013s in the other models before the web site was updated. Since as far as I know you can still order a 2012 CM that's a sign it could be a little while.
