Does anyone know what to use to get sap off my cloth top?

Try some ice on it and pick it off with your finger nail.
303, ragg top or renevo cleaner may work if above doesn't.

hot water . . . compresses

soak a cloth with hot water, place over and let it sit

repeat until gone

I have heard hand sanitizer works wonders on sap.

careful with that, it is gelled alcohol so may discolour the top fabric. Try the other methods first.

There is a tree resin remover availble at shopminiusa.com. I assume that since it is sold by MINI, it would be best for the top. The is also a complete soft top care kit that includes a bottle of the resin remover. Neither the resin remover or the complete kit are cheap, but neither is a ruined top.
