Bluetooth Headsets. I know, I know...

Bluetooth Headsets. I know, I know, a lot of people hate them. But I need the functionality of jumping in and out of my MINI while staying connected.

I'm replacing my way too old Jawbone 1, and wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on/or personal experience in their MINI with some of the new ones:

Jabra Extreme 2
Jawbone 2 www.jawbone.com/support/jb2
Touchstone http://www.indiegogo.com/touchstonebluetoothnecklace

Thanks,

L

I personally hate in ear BT headsets, but the Jawbone 1 was by far the best one i've used. My only gripe was that the charge plug actually broke the button. I had to super glue it back on. Other than that, i've never had issues with the voice quality itself. People on the other side of the call never complained of feedback or surrouding noise. Now that i have the Mini, the in car BT is awesome. I also use a wired headset which also works very well. http://www.snuggbuds.com/SmartPhone_s/48.htm I've tested it with friends and it seems to have the same clarity as the jawbone.

As for the JB2, i've read that the call clarity is still great, but battery life is pretty bad.

I just purchased the Bose earpiece at best buy. I do not recall the model number, but it was 150.00.
I can talk with the top down and windows up with no background noise for the listener.

I went from having in car bluetooth to not with my second MINI. I opted for the Jawbone ERA. It is very good. Clear. Comfortable. Lasts for hours.
