I've owned numerous cars. sometimes i feel like i've been trying to find my soul mate. well with minis i think i've found it and it's not just because of the car itself.
the people who drive mini's are some of the nicest around. whether your driving down the street and wave back at each other or you're stuck on trying to figure out whats wrong with your car.
believe me, from all of the cars i've owned within the least five year (13 total) and all of the forums i'm registered on, no one is as nice, friendly, helpful, welcoming, and just genuine good people as mini owners are. ive been to a lot of mini meets and its nothing like the meets for other car organizations. so much more enjoyable!

just wanted to thank everyone for being so welcoming at both the mini meets and the forums. i'm still young at 21 and owned my jcw for a little over a year now. i'll definitely do my best to keep this alive. i live, eat, and breathe mini.

My hubby and I enjoy our club events and MINI friends. I totally agree with you, they are friendly and welcoming!

 

I agree, many other car cultures can be very cliquey, look down on those who didn't opt for the top trim model, or full of try-hard posturing macho d-bags. MINI people seem to just genuinely enjoy driving.

 

exactly!!!! and thats why i love owning my car. whether yours is whacky and quirky, track car, an S, a cooper, clean, full of power, stock, or just your own style. it doesnt matter and everyone just likes to meet another owner and make a new friend who shares the same obsession and like you said enjoy driving! with mini owners its not a pissing contest on whos better or whos got the most knowledge, its just a GREAT COMMUNITY!
