Ian Cull V7 fog light feature does not work

Yesterday I installed the Ian Cull auto-up circuit.

All the features work except for auto-on fog lights, anyone else have this issue?

I have a 2006 R50 5speed with a sunroof and front fog lights only.

I've had this problem a couple of times. I uninstalled the circuit and reinstalled. Tried re-enabling the fogs, and nothing worked. Eventually, like you said, it started working again. I emailed the company that now makes them, and discussed some issues it might be including temperature. I live in Las Vegas and wondered if maybe our triple digit temps may have caused it to fail. The guy I talked to said there was another owner that had a unit fail, and they weren't quite sure what the problem was, and that they had some temp issues a while back, but they thought they had ironed it out. He then said he would send me a new one, (a couple months ago) which I never received. Since mine started working again, I haven't pressed the issue. Over all I'm very pleased with the unit, and even used the stealth features to hook up my garage door opener and security gate remote. It's nice not having those 2 remotes on my visor or floating around the cabin. Hopefully it's just a minor glitch that will work itself out when it does happen. I recommend it all the time, and it's one of the best mods I've installed in my MINI!!

It is a great mod! I like that and my throttle controller. The other great mods were a pulley and sway bar I put on my R53... I think I'll get the DDM intake for my R50, maybe a rear sway bar and call it a day.
