when you buy a new one off lets say pelican or minimania do they come painted all ready?

my a pillar cover flew off today and i have black trim so will it come black with the gloss finish or do i have to paint it?

 

If you are referring to the pillar covers on each side of the windshield, they are not painted. They are gloss black plastic. One of mine got broken by the windshield shop during a new windshield install so they ordered one for me and had it sent to my house. Easy install.

Mine flew off on the freeway in April lol. I guess it's a common problem. I searched high and low on every parts place I knew that was fairly cheap, but good product. Nowhere offered the piece for less than $50 :/

I ended up getting one off eBay from a dealer in FL (yeah, a far cry from me lol) for about $60. I knew that since it was coming from a dealer, it would be good quality. Why didn't I order one locally? Because for some reason they were more expensive. Oh well.

Yes, they come gloss black, to answer your main question
