somebody smacked into my car and scraped up my front bumper. I was hoping I could just get a take off Dark silver S that does not need to be repainted. Mine is easily repairable but it needs a repaint and that aint cheap.

 

Check with your dealer to see what body shop (s) they use to install the Aero kits on the new Cooper S cars. I found a brand new dark silver cover for $200 from one of the two shops used by the dealer. These are basically left at the body shops when they should have been delivered to the customer. Price will vary on how nice they are at these shops.

i dont know why more people dont use them, but anyone who lives in a city should invest in bumper guards. $40 gets you easy protection from somebody dinging up and ruining your painted bumper. i got clear ones from a local japanese import auto assessory store, but you can find others on the web.
