I keep seeing stuff about the MINI One on european sites and elsewhere. What is it? I can't really find anything different between it and the MINI Cooper.

 

This is the base model in the markets outside of the US/Canada.
90hp instead of the Cooper 115hp.
There is also a Mini One-D which is a turbo-diesel.
It is similar to the base Cooper (flatter seats, rotary climate controls) and I believe that it only comes as one color... ie: no contrasting roof. There is also less chrome, ect.
