I had two large smacks yesterday, but no cracks.... scared me though, it was pretty loud when it hit.

I just had the windshield replaced on the car I am trying to sell yesterday afternoon. I was on the way home and SMACK - a rock hit my brand new windshield! Luckily it didn't chip it but it scared the you-know-what out of me.

It's amazing we can be driving down the road at 65+ MPH and get nailed by a peice of gravel and there's nothing on the windshield...

Yet accoding to MINI the 85 gaziilion pits on my windshield are from crap hitting it...
