17'' Superleggera + Stoptech
17'' Superleggera + Stoptech
Hey Guys,
I picked up a set of 17x7 Superleggeras and am planning to bolt them over the Stoptech BBK. The wheels are et 37. From what I've read, it sounds like I'll need a 5MM spacer.
Am I going to get significantly more 'poke' out of these wheels running a 5mm spacer? If so, should that have any impact on my tire size choice?
I'm used to running a 215x45x17 with my current BBS RC but wondering if, with the wider track, I should be considering a 215x40x17 in order to avoid rubbing issues?
Thanks for any feedback!
Andrew

Thanks, Braminator.
I'm realizing I probably should have re-phrased my question.
What I'm concerned about is given the wheels are et 37, and I'll be running a 5mm spacer, that effectively gives me an et32 wheel, right? I'm lowered with a 1 finger gap on KW V1's and concerned that I'm going to rub the fender on the outer edge of the wheel. Can anyone comment on the likelihood of that happening, and if I should go with a 215/40/17 (not as tall) or 205/45/17 (not as wide) as opposed to the 215/45/17 I'm used to running?
