Looking at doing DP and SS.


Is it worth it for the craven SS?

Also should I get the boot for it or use the stock one?

 

The Craven is adjustable, but it changes the entire shift lever. Another option is the Helix or NM short shifter. I installed the Helix, and it is excellent. It's fixed at about 30% reduction, but the shifter remains stock. You just install the little aluminum extension in the linkage from under the car. About $50.

 

Its one of my favorite mods. This is an old pic when I had the JCW shifter on. Now I have a Whalen Shift Machine and its even better.

 

What makes it better less movement to engage and adjustable height? My 5th gear has a lot of travel on stock setup right now. Shift machine **** def looks better that the stock one.
